Potty training, a new bed and wash-poo....

Kenzie has been doing GREAT about telling us when she has to go #2. She can tell us right away that she needs to go sit on the potty and does her business right away most of the time. She wants a high-five, sticker and m&m's for doing so too. Pee is a whole different story. I feel like my child does things backwards. She learned how to walk but she wasn't a good crawler, she got around by scooting, not really crawling. Now she can poop like a champ in the potty but doesn't have the desire to go pee. Doesn't make much sense, but we will work on it.

Kenzie's Papa made her a toddler bed. We decided since we are working on potty training that we should start to transition her into a bed...that and with the new baby coming, we wanted to transition before we totally turn her world upside down!
She has slept in her bed every night since she got it. (Last Monday night was the first night.) Nap time was challenging at first but now she knows I mean business.

Wash-poo. This is what Kenzie calls shampoo. It's pretty freaking hilarious to hear her say it too. I guess you have to be there.

She likes to get on her little bounce&spin pony with a hat and yell, "YEEE-HAWW!" I think she's going to be a cowgirl for Halloween this year.

I am 14 weeks on Wednesday! Hello Second Trimester! :)

Letting The Cat Outta The BAG!!!

I can finally say it.......I'm PREGNANT! I've known this since BEFORE Christmas and it took everything in me to keep it a secret, until now!

Russ and I went in for our first ultrasound this morning to verify the pregnancy. I am 12 weeks and 5 days today, right on track! Baby was moving all around and she(the ultrasound lady) was jabbing my belly trying to get it in a good position for pictures. We got four really good ones. We saw the hands, arms, legs, feet, back, belly and head. We heard the heartbeat, a nice strong 153.

According to the age of the baby I'm due August 31st but because I am having a repeat c-section he/she will be here before that. I'm extremely excited. Kenzie can say "Big Sister!" She gets excited when I ask if she's going to be a big sister and she tells me there is a baby in my belly, a teeny, tiny baby.

We ARE planning on finding out the sex of the baby. Will we share that info? I don't know yet but we aren't sharing any name ideas. We want there to be SOME surprise in the whole matter. :)
