Work was horrendous....worse than normal.
A horrible morning, decent mid day and an evening ending worse than I expected.
My baby toe got wrecked by the kitchen chair while I was running and hiding from Kenzie last night. In the picture you can see the blue-ness of the entire left side of my foot. I cried. It hurt and still hurts right now. I have to walk all sideways and crazy and it still hurts like a mother effer.My nice mid-day I got to spend with the family hanging around Gram's pool. It was nice to be in the sun and swim in the pool. Kenzie fell twice while running after we told her to walk and now she has 2 little asphalt "burns" one on each knee. They're scabbed over already. Just adding to her already bruised up chicken legs.
Over the weekend we experimented with sidewalk chalk. She loves it. She mainly likes to draw over my drawings.I am pretty irked about Kenzie's pediatrician. I called to make her 18 month appointment (I know, I'm a lilttle behind...) and the next available appointment is JULY 15th!!! I love Dr. Carrie but I'm kinda glad we are moving across town so we are switching Dr's after this appointment. I need to do some research on Pediatricians. I was also thinking about switching my "woman doctor" but I love Dr. Burns and Dr. Docasar too much and I think the drive to see them will be worth it when I get pregnant again. Is that weird? It's hard to find a good woman doctor let alone a good gyno....I'm probably gonna stick with them :)
I came across this, it's one of my FAVORITE pictures of her! 11/09We went and checked out our house yesterday. There are windows in and all the plumbing is done! We got the master shower with a second shower head, one on each side of the shower...it's going to be so nice!

Toe injuries are the WORST!!! I dropped the vacuum on my toe and I thought I was going to die this morning. We have Dr. Carrie too. I like her, but it really REALLY bugs me that they absolutely WILL NOT take a sick child in without an appointment, which usually takes days to get. It doesn't make sense. How the hell am I supposed to schedule when I need you to check for an ear infection, doctor lady!!? Let me know if you find a good pediatrician, we are considering switching too!!
ReplyDeleteDr. Carrie is awesome, it's the office BS that sucks! I will be looking around and I might even ask her if she has any recommendations! I don't get why they don't take sick kids right away? Kenzie hasn't been sick so I haven't experienced that but it's good to know!
